Dams and hydraulic Engineering
Since 1990 GEOS has designed projects and directed the construction of various hydraulic and hydroelectric works, dams and other lake and river works.
The design of hydraulic structures involves a wide variety of GEOS technical skills such as hydrology and hydraulics, soil and rock geology and mechanics, geo-technics and foundations, as well as material resistance and calculation of structures.
With these skills and their combined experience, GEOS engineers offer their customers a complete, first-class service from design to construction and even monitoring of their behavior during operation.
GEOS has specialists in the engineering of dams and dykes to carry out studies relating to the safety of hydraulic structures (design, diagnosis and monitoring of structures, risk studies, hydrological and flood studies, etc.). What is more, if required, GEOS is able to call on its experts in civil engineering, hydraulic engineering and electromechanical equipment.
